WASHROOM DIRECT RECRUITING TO MEET DEMAND
It is not all doom and gloom in the business community as one south Cheshire company is showing, as they recruit to meet demand.
In their latest expansion Dame Hygiene Services Limited have launched Washroom Direct. The new web-based company complements their established business with the national supply of washroom services, personal hygiene supplies and janitorial products direct from the internet.
The new development comes soon after the company, based at Doddington Park near Bridgemere, won a contract to look after air quality at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Sales Manager, Maureen Harrop, says; “We have grown to the point where we had to recruit to keep up with demand. We are not in a recession proof business, but we have adapted to the market and the way we deliver the service and now provide customers with the choice of either a bespoke washroom service, or they can now order products direct from the internet.”
To fill the new role Dame Hygiene turned to Crewe-based KPI Recruitment who worked closely with Maureen to appoint Vicky Bennett from Wistaston as office manager.
“We chose to work with KPI because of their excellent candidate pool of job seekers in Crewe & Nantwich. We are delighted with the outcome and the fact that we have appointed Vicky who has the perfect skill-set to help us grow,” explained Maureen.
For Vicky, 28 and mother of two, the position is also a lifestyle change as she moves away from a nine-to-five role as a financial controller in Stoke to take on the more flexible, family friendly position.
Ryan Jardine, managing director for KPI said: “For a key role in any organisation it is essential that the right person is appointed. In this case we were able to provide Dame Hygiene with a short list of candidates and then worked with them to select Vicky who has all the right skills and experience.”
